Baby Friendly
Parents are welcome at The Light with our Baby-friendly screenings for them and their babies, aged under one year old.
Intended to give new parents a couple of hours to relax and watch a film with friends or loved ones, these screenings are designed to be kinder to babies as well. The sound is lowered and the lights are only dimmed to makes baby's first cinema experience comfortable without detracting from the film for the parents.
We are breast-feeding friendly and have baby changing facilities and best of all, you will be with other people in a similar situation, so you don't need to worry if baby fusses or if you need to step out for a moment. Guests with a valid ticket can also enjoy a free refill on any fountain or hot drink.
We have a small area at the front of the screens for prams and pushchairs but space is limited, and you may need to leave them outside of the screen in a private room. Fire exits, stairways and aisles must not be blocked in any way. Your prams, pushchairs and any belongings left with them are left at your own risk and we cannot accept any responsibility for them.
Please be aware these screenings are only for parents and carers with babies under one year old. Older children and the general public will not be allowed entry.
